Just so everyone is clear the last part of the trail to packsaddle lake is closed to all vehicles wider than 50". Just wanted to make that clear on the bog for future reference. Lets make sure that we DO NOT do any illegal off roading. As a paying member of Blue Ribbon Coalition and donator to Tread Lightly, I do not want to see it, and if you know people that do please educate them. It is No Ones Fault as no one knew and its only been a week since the sign and the online map wasnt updated etc etc.
If anyone has any ideas on how we can somehow volunteer up there or in another area, I would like to know so I can give back some how, and give a good name to us fellow offroaders in this area.
I don't mean to rant or offend anyone but this issue hits close to home with me since countless of trails have been closed since I've started wheeling 7-8 years ago.
Lets continue to have fun and keep wheeling!!

This blog is for all those in Rexburg who off-road. We wanted a place where anyone who wants to organize a trail ride can do so. If you plan on wheeling sometime just E-mail me and I will post it I just need date time and the meeting place. All makes and models are welcome here along with anything from stock to highly modified.

ReplyDeleteHaha, but seriously, we gotta do what we can to have trails we can wheel. I'm down for doing what's necessary to keep trails open.
Also I have pictures from the trip, I'll get them on photobucket for everyone to download what they want
