Lets get together and make a run. I was thinking either Friday or Saturday of this week or next...... I will put a poll up on the date and also on locations. If you have any other ideas let me know. If you would like access to the site to help coordinate runs let me know.
FYI Spencer is no longer attending BYUI so he will not be making the runs with us.
This blog is for all those in Rexburg who off-road. We wanted a place where anyone who wants to organize a trail ride can do so. If you plan on wheeling sometime just E-mail me and I will post it I just need date time and the meeting place. All makes and models are welcome here along with anything from stock to highly modified.

ReplyDeleteWheelinscott- I know that Rexburg rock trail is on youtube and you can see what it's like. There is a link that jeepwillyscj2a put up a while ago on the home page. It has gps coordinates to different trails. I picked Red road just because they say Webster's dam has a steep side hill section that if it's muddy could be nasty. Results being you pretty much loose your truck down a huge hill. And I think i'm too wide for the rock trail. From the youtube videos i watched it looked like it was really tight. So I picked red road but know nothing about it. Maybe i'm a wuss haha
ReplyDeleteDont worry Aaron if you slide down the hill we can just winch you out again:) I should be good for next weekend, but I might go out this friday if I dont go out of town for work also. I might go check out Websters or the Rock Trail.

ReplyDeleteI posted pictures on facebook (my facebook is scott lenk add me as a friend if you want) from friday. I had a lot of fun (even if we were getting stuck alot). My wife and I are excited for saturday.
ReplyDeleteI don't know that you will make it far into Webster's dam. I went out there a couple weeks ago, and I didn't make it to far before the snow was several feet deep, and only getting deeper. Also the trail down to the dam is very steep. So just so you know.
ReplyDeleteLets Run this saturday either to Rock trails or red road. We will meet at Valley Wide @ 9:30 am and roll out at 10:00 am. Let me know wher you would rather go. I would like to go to the rock trails, I know they are not covered in snow.
